My Addictions

Have you ever been addicted to anything? Well, nothing too personal.... I'm talking about everyday things that taste too good to be bad!
I have many addictions... most involve sugar. So, to anyone who eats everything thats bad for them I am here to say, "You are not alone friend!"

My number one weakness
Yummmmm! This is the main thing I drink, and I am one of those annoying people that call all soda's Coke. I also really love Dr. Pepper. That would be my 2nd choice in soft drinks. This is just soft drinks... I do also enjoy sweet tea.... I mean, lets keep it real I'm a southerner.

Turtles! This is a sweetness that I have had since childhood (early childhood), but has always only been a "special occasion" treat. I'm not really sure why. Probably because they are $1 plus some change for 3 small pieces. And trust me, that doesn't go far!

If you haven't tried this yet you are missing Heaven on Earth! M&M's in your popcorn! We do this at home all the time, and popcorn just isn't the same without a bag of M&M's to dump on top. If you haven't tried it... go right now and get a bag of M&M's and popcorn and try it today! You'll have more popcorn than M&M's so I recommend about 1 M&M per 3 or 4 kernels.

Sugar on top of sugar, how sweet! These sugar cookies are simply amazing. These are also definitely a treat, because they usually come 8 to a pack. 8 cookies with 3-4 people in your family probably won't last more than a few hours tops! You can get them in the bakery section of your grocery store or at Wal-Mart.

These are a huge addiction and can we say, cavity invitation?! I love them! I could probably sit and eat 3 packs or so before I realize I'm going to have a belly ache. They stick to your teeth like crazy and you just know you're going to be calling the dentist soon, but they are so easy to pop in your mouth.. tiny bite sized bits of caramel love.

Thats all the sweety sugary things I can think of for now. Even if I could think of more things I would still stop here, because I don't want to look like I have a serious problem with sugar, which I do. ;)

Button Crazy

For the past 2 HOURS I have been trying to make a button for my blog, and then add a grab code (for you to share my blog with others ;)) AnnnnnnD a text box to wrap it all up in a neat little package. Whew! I had no idea 120 minute of my life could be spent working so hard and accomplishing nothing!

Well, I finally (after google searching my brains out) found this blog...
http://jenieshell.blogspot.com/ and I have never had a stranger make me feel so accomplished! So, she is now my friend.. eventhough she may not know it... or me. She just made my life so much easier with her perfect step by step directions and she even went back to give little add on tips that all those other bloggers left out.

Check out my BUTTON to the right, and if you'd like to share it just copy the code below and post to your blog or facebook, etc page! I also added Jen's blog button to my page, because I'm nice like that! :)

A Day Full of Snow!

Today was a snow day!
I stayed up pretty late last night and it didn't look like it was coming... but right as I headed for bed I took one last peek and the ground was turning white. I woke up this morning and there was a beautiful 5" layer of snow everywhere! Even Daniel got off work early and spent some snow time with us.

I let Isaac off the hook with homeschool, so he could fully enjoy what has been the largest snow in years.
He started early this morning before breakfast. A routine of out for hours, then in to warm up (leaving the back foyer soaking wet), warm up for a while then as soon as the feeling in his hands would come back he'd be right back out there to get frost bit again!

Ian on the other hand... not so amused!

What a nice day to cancel school! Every once in a while...
The Man Upstairs knows when we need a vacation! And, in my opinion...
monday was a great day to choose!

This Old House

Well... the holidays are over, the new year is here and we are all moved in and settled into our new place. Ok, so new isn't exactly the right word. It took a lot of work (every Saturday for 8 months to be exact), but it feels nice bringing life back into this old house.
Here are a few pictures to show off where we now call home.

Lets Begin

Surprise, I decided to start blogging. I might as well.... seeing as I always have plenty to say and life is always so active/entertaining.
What genre of TV show would your family be on TV? Mine, would without a doubt, be a sit-com. Funny in the way that I don't really think all things are funny until something else comes along that at the time seems more aggrevating. Ha. Comparable to whom... Hmm... Lets see... I'd say King of Queens (with kids), perhaps Everybody loves Raymond (with less kids).

This will be a great way to keep in touch with friends and family and share whats going on in our life. So, I hope you enjoy in sharing in the fun & silly, the stress & crazy, and the all around love & life of my family!

Let's Begin....
